Making an Offer on a DomainYou make an offer on a domain name by completing the offer process on the web site or by emailing us.
All offers are subject to VAT being added at the prevailing rate unless the domain is paid for and registered outside of the European Union.
On receipt of your offer we will either provisionally accept or reject your offer and email you accordingly.
In the event that we provisionally accept your offer then payment must be received within seven calendar days or the offer will expire.
If you pay by PayPal then Paypal may present you with a receipt on screen and/or email you confirmation of your payment. Any such PayPal receipt or confirmation is not acceptance by us of any offer to purchase a domain name.
Your offer and our provisional acceptance does not form a binding contract until payment has been received and the domain transfer initiated with Nominet.
Buying a Domain from usYou make an offer to purchase from us by completing the order process on the web site or by emailing us. Your offer to purchase does not form a binding contract until it is accepted by us.
All prices displayed on our web site exclude VAT.
On receipt of your order, we may send you an order acknowledgement to the email address you provided. This order acknowledgement email will contain details of the domain ordered. This email is only to acknowledge that your order has been received and is being reviewed. It is not acceptance by us of any offer to purchase a domain name.
If you pay by PayPal then Paypal may present you with a receipt on screen and/or email you confirmation of your payment. Any such PayPal receipt or confirmation is not acceptance by us of any offer to purchase a domain name.
Order acceptance and the formation of a binding contract between you and us only takes place when we initiate the domain transfer with Nominet.
Rejecting your OfferWe reserve the right not to accept your offer to purchase a particular domain name.
In the event that you have already made a payment then we will refund that payment in full within seven working days of your request to do so.
Domain TransfersOnce we have received payment and accepted your order we will initiate the domain transfer via Nominet.
Nominet will email the purchaser a link to a secure form. Please note that if you pay by PayPal then your PayPal email address will be used.
Nominet's rules state that you must pay the £11.75 transfer fee and complete the transfer within five days or the transfer will expire.
In the event that you do not complete the transfer within five days we may agree to restart the transfer process on payment of a nominal fee. In exceptional circumstances at our discretion we reserve the right to cancel our agreement. In such a case we will refund your payment in full within seven working days of your confirmation of the refund details.
Distance Selling RegulationsIf you are a Consumer (a natural person who is acting for the purposes other than those of his trade, business or profession) then you have certain rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Under these regulations you must notify us in writing or by e-mail that you wish to cancel your contract before the end of the statutory cancellation period of 7 working days from the day after the transfer was completed.
You can only cancel your contract using the Distance Selling Regulation if you have not already updated the DNS (Domain Name Servers) for the domain.

Any unsolicited emails or messages not to do with the buying/selling of domains or any email sent to more than one of our contact addresses or multiple emails sent about the same subject are likely to get you listed on our Hall of Shame for everyone to see. It is a condition of using our web site that you hereby give us permission to publish your email address in such cases. If you do not wish to accept this condition then please do not use our site or contact us.
